These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by SOS Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By booking a service with SOS Services, you agree to the following terms.


1. Services We Provide

SOS Services provides professional drainage services including but not limited to:

  • Blocked Drain Clearance

  • Emergency Drain Clearance

  • CCTV Drain Surveys & Inspections

  • Pre-Purchase Drain Surveys

  • Insurance Drain Reports

  • Drain Installation

  • Drain Replacement & Upgrades

  • Sewer & Utility Connections

  • Pipe Lining (No Dig Repairs)

All services are subject to site conditions and accessibility.


2. Quotations & Pricing

  • Fixed prices apply only to the specific service described at the time of booking.

  • Any additional work required will be explained and quoted before proceeding.

  • We will not carry out extra chargeable work without your approval.

  • Installation, replacement, or major repair works are subject to site survey and written quotation.

  • Prices may vary depending on access restrictions, depth, ground conditions, or unforeseen complications.


3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the agreed service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We reserve the right to request deposits for installation or larger works.

  • Late payments may result in additional charges.


4. Access & Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the affected drainage area.

  • Inform us of any known hazards, shared drainage systems, or property restrictions.

  • Remove vehicles, furniture, or obstacles where possible to allow safe working.

We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or undisclosed site conditions.


5. CCTV Surveys & Reports

  • CCTV surveys cover accessible drainage runs only.

  • Reports reflect the condition of the system at the time of inspection.

  • Hidden defects or inaccessible sections cannot be guaranteed or reported on.

  • Insurance reports are prepared based on visible and recorded evidence.


6. Drain Clearance

  • While we aim to fully clear blockages, we cannot guarantee against future blockages caused by misuse, structural defects, or external factors.

  • If structural damage is identified, further repair may be recommended.


7. Pipe Lining (No Dig Repairs)

  • Pipe lining suitability is subject to pipe condition and structural integrity.

  • Severe collapses or full structural failure may require excavation instead.

  • Lifespan estimates are based on manufacturer guidelines and proper installation.


8. Drain Installation & Replacement

  • Installations are carried out in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.

  • Building control approval, water authority permissions, or inspection fees are not included unless specifically agreed.

  • Landscaping reinstatement is limited to basic ground reinstatement unless otherwise agreed.


9. Liability

  • We hold appropriate public liability insurance.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, shared drainage system issues, or structural defects outside the agreed scope of work.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by severe weather, third parties, or circumstances beyond our control.


10. Cancellations

  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Late cancellations may incur a charge to cover travel and allocated time.


11. Emergency Call-Outs

Emergency services are subject to availability. While we aim to respond quickly, response times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, or demand.


12. Guarantees

  • Workmanship guarantees apply only to the specific repair or installation completed.

  • Guarantees do not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, or unrelated future issues.

  • Details of guarantees will be provided where applicable.


13. Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may use anonymous analytics tools such as Google Analytics to improve our services.


14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly and professionally.


15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
